Things To Do

Portland is about an hour east of Parsonsfield, and we highly recommend spending some time in the area if you're able to enjoy the local sights and sounds. We'll be hanging around town for a few days after the wedding for anyone who wants to spend some time exploring with us.

Krista's

2 Main Street, Cornish, ME 04020
, (207) 625-3600

Okay we haven't been here yet (not for lack of trying) but it's come strongly recommended. Great lunch/dinner option close to the venue and lodging options.

Lindsay's at The Cornish Inn

2 High Road, Cornish, ME 04020
, (207) 625-9167

Another option close to the venue for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Pai Men Miyake

188 State Street, Portland, ME 04102
, (207) 541-9204

Excellent sushi and Ramen right in the heart of Portland's arts district. Catch us here in the days after the wedding.

Liquid Riot Bottling Company

250 Commercial Street, Portland, ME 04101
, (207) 221-8889

Fun brewery we've been going to since we first started exploring Maine together. Good for a laid back happy hour and some bites.

Fore Street

288 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101
, 2077752717

One of our absolute favorite restaurants, and a new staple of our visits. Pricey, but well worth it. Reservations book up months in advance, however walking in by 5-6pm and putting your name in will very likely get you a table later in the evening.

Blyth & Burrows

26 Exchange Street, Portland, ME 04101
, (207) 466-2920

Hop over here after putting your name in at Fore Street to pass the time until your table is ready. Excellent craft cocktails and small plates.

The Holy Donut

177 Commercial Street, Portland, ME 04101
, (207) 331-5655

Delicious gourmet donuts, with rotating allergen/vegan/gluten free-friendly options. Try the sweet potato donut.

Duckfat

43 Middle Street, Portland, ME 04101
, (207) 774-8080

A definite tourist attraction, but it really is good enough to justify the hype. Get fries and a milkshake and question your choices for the rest of the day.

Arcadia

504 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101

Great barcade with a ton of classic and modern cabinets. Tons of cool pinball machines if that's your thing, and a weird guitar hero adjacent hand jive game. I can't explain it but we watched this one dude play on expert mode and it was absolutely wild. He had his own gloves and headphones and people were all crowded around oohing and aahing. Anyways back to the website designing.

For all the days along the way
