March 2017, a handsome young man road his bike up River Avenue in Newport Beach to a bathing-suit-clad young lady sitting in a black Adirondack chair. Despite his choice in gunslinger style board shorts (literally adorned with a fake gun belt), she was smitten. He was quite taken with her as well; and against her better judgment, the two had their first kiss outside of Stag Bar in front of their beach cruisers. They grew closer, enjoying massages, drinks, food, and good company at The Parker in Palm Springs, a mere two weeks later. He thrived in a trial-by-fire of sorts, her father's wedding, barely a month-in. He jumped at the chance to plan the wine tasting, drove to the store while she decorated the gazebo, and watched her adored baby niece in the shade while the vows were exchanged. Over the next few months, he steadily made room for her in his closet. By late summer, the new couple were discussing the prospect of the anticipated puppy in Arizona. He just so happened to be on a breeder list for her dream dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. By November, they had been parents to their fur child for several months and were off to Bali for their first international trip. They celebrated their six month anniversary and her thirtieth birthday overlooking the jungle. As of Christmas, the couple had agreed to move-in together - officially. 2018 transpired in similar vein. With their first year under their belt, they continued to develop at work, engaged in routines, and struck out for adventure in England and Scotland. They visited his childhood home and he met a friend from her work-abroad in Switzerland; little-by-little learning more and more about one another. He spoiled her with thoughtful gifts and she tried her damndest to continually show her appreciation for all he provided for her. April 2019, nearly two years into their fateful and fruitful lives together, he sealed the deal. She said "yes" on the beach they fell in love. The rest is history.
