We’re getting married!

I distinctly remember the first time I saw Trev. I was moving into a new apartment in Tallahassee on a hot August day, having driven 8 hours from Miami when I arrived at the building that housed my new home. This being my 3rd time moving in Tallahassee, I made the trip alone. I imagined that I had struck pure luck when I pulled up into the parking spot right in front of the building and I saw him standing there on the balcony. My car was packed with bins full of clothes and suitcases which would need to be carried up several flights of stairs to the third floor. I was certain that this guy would offer to help me once he saw that I was alone, helpless, and not bad looking. So I made the first trip up the stairs with some of my things and figured if he was still outside, he would say something to me. After the third or fourth trip up the stairs, I realized that not only was he not going to offer to help me, he wasn't even going to acknowledge me! Needless to say, I brought everything up the stairs myself. By the time my roommates and their families arrived later in the day, I had decided that Trevor was not worth my time. I made certain to tell them all about the rude guy on the 2nd floor who didn't offer any help, despite being outside nearly the whole time. So how did we get from there to where we are now? Well, one fateful night some time later my roommate, Jessie, and I were hanging out in our apartment playing Just Dance video games when we heard a knock on the door. We answered the door to a guy who had come upstairs from the 2nd floor to invite us to play beer pong with them. We figured we had nothing else to lose so we might as accept the invitation. As luck would have it, Trev agreed to be my beer pong partner. From that night, Jessie and I started hanging out with our neighbors and we came to be friends. Eventually, the flirtation between me and Trev grew. We fell in love, moved several times, got a dog, and decided to spend our lives together.
