Valet parking is available at the Nasher during museum hours ( 11:00 am - 5:00 pm ) for $10.00. There are cheaper parking garages throughout the Arts District. A map of parking can now be found on the "Parking" tab of the website.
You will be seated, and the ceremony will begin at noon. You may arrive as as early as 11:00, when the museum opens, for pictures or time to view the sculptures and gardens. As our honored guest, you will receive full admission to the Nasher's beautiful exhibits. There will also be time to view the museum after the reception.
We would like our ceremony as daytime formal as possible, but we understand the August heat and humidity in the garden. The garden is well shaded, but the wedding will have a tropical theme and you are welcome to dress appropriately to help keep cool. Elegant men's tropical collared shirts, linens, and lighter hues are welcome. For the ladies, summer cocktail dresses, garden attire, floral prints, and dressy jumpsuits are acceptable. Please be yourself and be comfortable as you join us for this formal affair.
Please respectfully make sure to RSVP on the website before July 21st. Our venue needs an exact number of guests that cannot be altered beyond this point. Even if you have let us know if person, you MUST RSVP online to be able to attend. If you missed the deadline and would still like to try to join us, please reach out to Lacy at 214-500-7632 to see if it is possible for the catering staff to accommodate you. We will do our best to have you there.
