Trevor and Kayla met back in 2012 while working at Boyea's, their hometown's local pizza shop. Kayla was running the show, covered in pizza dough flour, when Trevor decided he wanted a second job to make some extra cash that summer. After he started working, Trevor quickly realized he wanted more shifts with Kayla while Kayla found herself eagerly checking the schedule to see if Trevor was coming in that day. Trevor was working a late shift one night when Kayla called (thanks to a little liquid courage) to place a fake order as an excuse to talk to him. He didn't think he had any chance getting a date with Kayla, until after that moment. They spent every day that summer staying up into the early mornings talking about life and being young in love. Trevor and Kayla have spent the last ten years going through all of life's ups and downs, living in different towns/cities/states, changing jobs, and raising the best pup in the world.
Shortly before an official decade of dating, Trevor asked Kayla to marry him in one of her favorite places: a bookstore. She was working/planning with her sister at their favorite corner table of the Barnes and Noble cafe when Trevor got down on one knee and completely caught Kayla by surprise (which is really hard to do). Through tearful kisses, Kayla said yes! She always thought her response would be "its about time!" but realized in that moment the timing couldn't have been more perfect.
We are both so excited for this next chapter in our lives and to celebrate that excitement with all of you at our wedding!
