FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be indoors.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn linked under the “Travel” section.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

This is a formal event. Out of respect for the sacred nature of the Nuptial Mass and the Church, we kindly ask that you dress modestly. We strongly encourage wearing attire that covers your shoulders as well as your knees. Thank you!

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

This November in Wichita, we expect temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. We will be more specific as soon as we know more.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Our typical response is “the more the merrier!” Unfortunately, we are not able to offer plus ones due to space limitations. When you RSVP, it will state the name of the persons we have invited and accounted for. Please note that if you bring a plus one, we will not have a seat or meal for them. We are inviting as many people as we can to celebrate with us!

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We are excited to serve authentic Mexican food provided by “Leo’s Taqueria & Catering”. The three taco options (chicken, pork, and steak) will be served buffet-style with sides of beans and rice.

Question

Should we bring cash for a cash bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks will be sold at cost. We are hoping to provide beer, wine and seltzers at $2 a piece.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift ahead of time, you can have it delivered to our home at: 3111 S. Elmwood Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57105 A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be a gap between the ceremony and reception, so no cocktail hour. There is, however, a 30 minute drive, so be sure to head right over after the ceremony ends.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 10:30pm.

For all the days along the way
