Flight
To get to Playa Del Carmen, you will need to fly into the Cancun airport and take a shuttle/taxi to your hotel in either Playa Del Carmen or Tulum.
Rental Car
From the Cancun International Airport, you will need take a shuttle to Playa Del Carmen or Tulum. It is about a 45 minute ride to Playa Del Carmen and a little less than a two hour ride to Tulum from the airport. Expedia has many great options for shuttles/taxis, however we do recommend private transportation for you and your family as this is more comfortable and efficient.
Hotel
We are recommending our guests to book their stay at Hilton Playa Del Carmen - All-Inclusive Resort as we believe they will provide the best experience. We are very familiar with this resort and think that the location is central to the main tourist attractions and activities. Although this is an adults only resort, there is a child friendly sister resort located directly across the street for our guests with children under 18 and I have included information for that as well. The resort is a 30 minute taxi ride from the Cancun airport and a 45 minute ride to our wedding venue in Tulum.
