The story starts all the way back to my Sophomore year of High School, and Kaitlyn's Freshman year when I asked her out the first time. I got shot down, but that did not stop me! My perseverance led me to ask her out again that very next summer, and yet again I got shot down. Finally comes my Senior year of High School, where I asked her out for the third time and she finally said yes!! Since that day we haven't looked back.

After several months of not so subtle hints and a few ring pictures (ok maybe more than a few), Trevor asked the question when we were in Monterey. The night we got there Trev suggested a moonlit walk on the beach which I thought was odd and shot down quickly- there was no moon that night! The next morning as we were driving on the coast and we stopped at a pullout to enjoy the view. It was there in one of my favorite places, with the most beautiful view, that Trev asked and I said yes.

We are so excited to celebrate with all of you- our family and friends.
