Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe... well, technically, a like on Hinge. Trevor liked one of Julia’s photos, and she made the first move (which should surprise no one who knows her). From that first message, something just clicked. Our first date was at Mi Ranchito, followed by a spontaneous brewery crawl, ending with Chick-fil-A and a kiss goodnight. It felt so easy, so fun, so right. Julia knew immediately, this was it. Trevor, ever the deep thinker, took about 24 hours to realize he had just met his future wife. From the beginning, we bonded over shared passions: our dogs, camping, live music, weekends with friends, quiet nights watching movies, and even swapping books from time to time. Whether we’re dancing at a festival, hanging out under the stars, or just enjoying our time together, we’ve always felt at home with each other. The proposal was straight out of a dream. Trevor planned everything, down to the surprise engagement party! At Flambeaux Winery, surrounded by vines and love, he asked Julia to marry him. She said yes through happy tears (and some serious shock!). What makes our relationship special? We’re truly best friends. We laugh a lot, support each other endlessly, and show love in the little ways every single day; whether it’s a sweet note, a favorite snack, or a special moment.
