Matron of Honor
Lauren and I met in 4th grade when we played on the same softball team. We've shared a whole lot of memories since then. Some highlights include early morning cross country practices, being roommates in college, road trips and church camp at the Woods. Lauren is passionate about everything she does, pushes me in my faith and loves me so well. She is the best friend ever and I can't wait for her to stand next to me on our big day!
Bridesmaid
My friendship with Laura started a little rocky. We were both super competitive in cross country and she started to be faster than me, so naturally I didn't like her. My freshman year of high school, we both qualified for the state cross country meet and I realized that she was actually the coolest person ever and she became one of my best friends! Laura is the most loyal friend and my biggest fan! She is constantly supporting me in my passions and is insanely good at every thing she does.
Bridesmaid
Tabitha and I met during her first week at K-State. She was one of my dearest friends throughout college and afterwards. Our favorite past times include going to p fit, eating Andy's ice cream, cuddling and talking about life and going to Taco Republic. Tabitha has made a huge impact on my life, my faith and my relationship with Trevor! She loves me unconditionally and isn't afraid to tell me the hard truth sometimes. I am so excited to celebrate my wedding day with Tabs by my side!!
Bridesmaid
The Hannah Anna duo started during my first week at K-State! Anna and I clicked instantly. She is incredibly funny and witty and is always is making me laugh. Anna would make me drive around Manhattan in freezing weather with the windows down listening to oldies country and I would make her clean the hair from the shower when we were roomies. Great team work. ;) Anna also has the ability to make everyone she meets feel loved and important and I am so lucky to be her friend! #hannahandannaforever
Bridesmaid
Emily was one of my best friends in college! We loved drinking tea together, going on runs, exploring nature in Manhattan and talking about life. More recently, Trevor and I have loved hanging out with Emily and her husband David! The four of us love talking and laughing and loving each other (mostly over tacos or chili). We can't wait to be friends with these two forever! (Ya, you're stuck with us ;)) Can't wait to have you stand next to me, Em!
Bridesmaid
Heather is my current room mate and has gotten a front row seat to all of my relationship with Trevor! Heather's joy for life is contagious and she is the best encourager. She goes out of her way to make friends feel loved and celebrated. So thankful that Trevor and I have gotten to experience that first hand! Some of our favorite activities including watching Handmaid's Tale, eating at Jose Peps and morning coffee! Trevor has some BIG shoes to fill when he becomes my next roomie!
Best Man
Troy, the bro, my backyard catch partner, teammate, and best friend. I gave him a hard time growing up, and now he would whoop me if I did that today, but I know he wouldn't. Troy is extremely loyal, hardworking, caring, and is always willing to help anyone out in need. Since he lives in Florida I don't get to see him very often, but I always enjoy our phone calls where we discuss what's been going on in our lives. Troy always knows how to make me laugh and he knows how to have a good time given any situation. Troy has always been a fixture amongst my friends and arguably is liked by them more than me. All the memories I have with my friends, Troy was there. I love this kid! There was no way I would get married without having him as my best man.
Groomsman
Foster, Fozzy, Dylan. Here's a friend for the ages. Foster and I met in middle school through some mutual friends and I'm thankful for that because we became friends quickly. From middle school science class partners to high school dances, and discussing our career paths, Foster and I have been through it all. Since moving to Seattle after college we don't get to see each other often, but I always enjoy visits, facetimes, and quality online video gaming, basically any chance we get to catch up. With the craziness of life, Foster is one of the first people I'd talk to about it. Like many of my other groomsman, Foster and I basically grew up together and he was a common fixture at the Arellanes home. There was no chance I was going to get married without Foster by my side.
Groomsman
Slade, the original friend since 1st grade. Slade is my oldest and most loyal friend. He's been a good friend to me as well Troy and my family in general. There aren't many memories I have that don't involve this guy in some way. Some highlights of my friendship with Slade include spending every summer outside on our bikes, being in some creek somewhere, fishing, watching movies, climbing trees, middle school football, shooting guns, and just hanging out. I think what makes Slade a great friend is his ability to want to be a part of my life. He's a good listener, talker, and is always willing to crack a joke or give you a hard time. I enjoy Slade's company and our regular quick chats over the phone. How can you get married without your oldest buddy?
Groomsman
David and I became friends following a road trip to Nashville where our ladies were bridesmaids in their friend Jenna's wedding. While the lady friends were busy with bridesmaid's duties, David and I were left to explore Nashville. We found good food and drink as well as good conversation. From brewing home-made beer, drinking lots of coffee, to shooting guns, to engagement ring shopping and annoying Hannah and Emily with our wacky accents and senses of humor, I'm glad I've gotten to know one of the wisest and most insightful people out there. He even took our engagement photos and set up the scene where I would eventually propose to Hannah! David and Emily's friendship has meant a lot to Hannah and me, and I am looking forward to having him by my side on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Connor and I met at our undergraduate internship site for physical therapy and then attended PT school at USM where we became car pool buddies and quick friends. Some memory highlights with Connor include snowboarding, doing PT stuff, jamming to Blink and RHCP in the car, watching KC sports and KU games, playing pool, bike rides, watching family guy on our hauls to class, studying (unfortunately), hitting the gym, cracking jokes, having dinner with our ladies, quoting our favorite movies and tv shows and laughing at basically everything. Connor is a loyal and great friend who has helped make my grad school experience (especially my carpool experience) more enjoyable than without him. I'm glad to be friends with him and have him by side on August 3rd.
Groomsman
Aaron is one of my oldest friends and probably atop the list of most likely to make me laugh in almost any situation. Since Aaron grew up literally behind my parent's house we became fast friends. I have memories of my mom getting angry that Aaron was calling the house phone before 8am waking everyone up to come over and hang out. He soon just started coming in the front door, and became a regular household member in the Arellanes home. Memories with Aaron include riding our bikes for miles over the summer, staying up late watching terrible movies, playing video games, listening to music and going to concerts, wiffle ball in the backyard, playing tons of softball, carpooling to school, and laughing till my abs hurt. I'm excited to have this guy by my side on my wedding day.
