The story on how Trevor and I met is a bit controversial. Both Trevor and I have different recollections on how this went down, but I will give you my version (Georgia's). It was a cold February evening on our beautiful Cornell College campus. I was at the dining hall getting dinner with a friend, when I noticed the mens basketball team entering the dining hall in matching travel gear. As I was eating my meal, I looked up and saw none other than Trevor Boge. We made eye contact, so I gave him a cheesy smile because of course, I thought he was pretty cute. Instead of looking away, I held eye contact with him for a second too long where I am sure it was uncomfortable (for both of us). Fast forward to later that evening, I was in the car with my bestie, Grace. We both decided we were going to do something "bold" that evening to spice it up. I decided to add Trevor on snapchat, because like I said earlier, he was pretty cute ;). Grace and I were then working on our homework and my phone dinged. Trevor had added me back. Then 5 seconds later, my phone dinged a second time and he had sent me a snap. Naturally, Grace and I were freaking out in the small dorm, and we decided I had to play it cool and wait before I opened it. So after 1 minute passed, I couldn't wait any longer and opened up the snap. In typical Trevor Boge fashion, there was a picture of his shoes with the famous words, "what's up?" Now, if you think that is charming wait till you hear this. The next few snaps, Trevor made it clear that he had absolutely no idea who I was and had never noticed me before on our small campus of less than 1,000 students, which was very humbling. However, we both gave it a shot and now 4 and half years later we are getting married! Trevor and I are both in awe at how faithful God has been during our relationship. We are so excited to continue to worship and pursue him as we get ready to start the most amazing journey of our lives.
