Where is the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a ceremony at the Stolley Park Flower Garden (2103 West Stolley Park Road). The flower garden is within Stolley Park.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

On-site wedding photographers will be capturing the events of the ceremony. We ask that you not bring your phone or camera out once the ceremony starts so that our photographers can capture us and our guests without phones/cameras blocking your face or the photographers shots. Please be mindful to not step or lean into the center aisle as this will block the professional photographer's shot. We welcome you to take pictures during the reception, prior to and after the ceremony. Please also be mindful during this time to not block the professional photographers' shots.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to space, we are only able to invite those listed on the invitation. Please refer to your invitation or RSVP, as we have noted "Guest" for those receiving a plus one.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we would enjoy to include everyone, due to space available we are only able to include children noted on your invitation. Your RSVP link should indicate the number of seats/plates that have been reserved for your family. Of course, if you have children but would rather take the night off and find a sitter, you are more than welcome to do so.

Is there parking?

Answer

There is parking surrounding the Stolley Park Flower Garden (ceremony) and at Riverside Golf Club (reception).

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift we could ask for, however if would like to give a gift to the newlyweds, our gift registry is under the Registry tab of our website. There will also be a table at the reception for those who wish to give in-person gifts or cards.

Once the schedule of events is finalized, it will be available under the Schedule tab of the website.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please note dietary restrictions on your RSVP and our caterer will do their best to accommodate.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. For ladies - cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or a nice jumpsuit are perfect. For men - dress pants with a button down or suits/blazers, ties are welcome but not required. Please note that our reception venue requires a collared shirt for men and does not allow blue jeans or sweatpants.

What should we bring?

Answer

Guests who would like to enjoy the bar should bring cash and photo ID. Comfortable shoes for the dance floor are also recommended. Weather in Nebraska is unpredictable. We encourage guests check the forecast ahead of the wedding and prepare accordingly (i.e. sunscreen/umbrellas). There ceremony will be outdoors at the Stolley Park Flower Garden. The reception will be primarily indoors at Riverside Golf Club where there is a patio area for those who want some fresh air. We also encourage our guests to bring their ID for age verification if they wish to drink alcohol.

Where do I RSVP?

Please RSVP and select your meal with the link on your invitation for all parties (children and plus one's) that are included on your invite.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have booked a hotel block at Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriot. There is a link on our Travel and Accommodations section of our website that will allow you to book in our block for a discounted rate. There are also several hotels along South Locust in Grand Island that would be near both ceremony and reception venue.

What if it rains?

Answer

While we are hoping for beautiful weather on our wedding day, Nebraska weather can be unpredictable. If it rains, we will still have our ceremony at the Flower Garden. If it is raining, we will plan to huddle as many guests as we can under the gazebo.

What is the bar situation?

Answer

There will be a selection of hosted drinks (beer, wine, and a signature drink) available while supplies last. If the hosted drinks run out or if you would like something other than the hosted drinks, it will be a cash bar. Please bring photo ID.
