Maid of Honor
Big sis of the bride! When I was in 4th grade, she told on me for shaving my legs. It took me until now to forgive her enough to make her my Maid of Honor. In all seriousness, she's a great big sister and I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Little sis of the groom! Taylor welcomed me into the Kirkpatrick family with open arms, and is always a ray of sunshine to be around. I can't wait to officially call her my sister.
Bridesmaid
As my sorority little, she’s seen the good and the bad, mostly bad, and still loves me almost as much as I love her. I knew she was a great person when she first joined Sigma Alpha, but I could not have imagined how much of an impact she would have on my life. She is the sweetest and most supportive person I know.
Bridesmaid
We went through sorority recruitment and rush together at Colorado State and became friends almost instantly. It wasn't until the night that we signed up for the Undie Run, it rained and we decided to stay in and drink wine instead, that I realized that she was one of my people - And That’s Why We Drink.

Bailey came into my life at Colorado State where we bonded over our hatred and failure at agricultural economics and our first year seminar class, that neither one of us actually needed to take. Bails and her family took me in as their own while I was far away from mine, and they truly are my Colorado family.

Kristen is snarky and sarcastic and truly one of a kind. She took me in right away when I transferred to Ohio State and I could not be more thankful for her. She got me through the insanity of sorority life, and still gets me through the insanity of life. If you ever need to find her, she's probably at BrewDog with her adorable baby boy, Eddie.
Best Man
Our friendship started at Black Hawk and has grown stronger since. Performing Bohemian Rhapsody at a talent show or creating a podcast, and all points in-between, Cory has been a go-to through it all.
Groomsman
It took going to Black Hawk to realize Hank was a Buckeye who lived an hour from home. We have stayed connected through all life events and always find a way to get together, even when we get busy. Hank is a very loyal friend who's willing to set me straight when I need it most.
Groomsman
Ohio State roommate, OSU judging teammate, and a great friend. Jordan has always been a listening ear when I need to vent or just to share a funny story. He's also not afraid to speak his mind when he disagrees with my crazy ideas, and I value that.
Groomsman
Another key friend in my life who I met at Black Hawk. When I need advice or ideas (mostly about show pigs) Ben is one of the first I ask. Better yet, he's extremely loyal and entertaining to be around. We always find a way to have a good time...until he pops his shoulder out of place. Ladies...he's single...
Groomsman
I met Nate through his brother Ben. If you would like to hear the story of what he expected when we first met, don't be afraid to ask him because he loves telling the story. Nate is an awesome friend who has always been an encouraging supporter. We could talk hours about the show pig industry and life in general.
Groomsman
I met Garrit at Ohio State. He's another friend who I can count on whenever I need him. We have judged a few shows together and I have enjoyed every one of them. Garrit is another friend who has many great stories and memories we have shared over the years.
Groomsman
I also met Tyler at Black Hawk. He's the dad of the group, but don't let that fool you...I've also seen him cut loose a few times and I enjoy it. Tyler has a level of professionalism and drive that I strive for. He is another loyal friend that I will always cherish. #Johnson2044

I've enjoyed watching Robert develop over the past few years. I judged his county fair when he was a senior in high school. He came up and thanked me for judging after the show and said he had an interest in judging himself. We had a short chat about BHE and school, and shortly after he traveled west to Kewanee to become part of the Black Hawk College family. It goes to show, you never know the amount of impact you may have on someone. I used to live/work down the road from Robert. I got to know him well and have never stopped keeping in touch since. We are glad he can be a part of the big day!

Zander has grown up on the farm at Real McCoy Genetics. He is turning into a very impressive young man both in the show livestock industry, and outside of the ring. Emily and I got to take Zander to the World Pork Expo a few years ago and thankfully we've recovered from that since. Zander has a very bright future ahead of him. I am proud to say he is part of the family.
