We're getting married in a tropical paradise!

I went to a backyard dinner party back in 2014, where I saw my high school friend Bryn with who I thought was her new husband that I had yet to meet. I thought "wow, Bryn's husband is pretty cute." Later, I found out that her husband had to work that night and she brought their (single!) friend Trevor, who was just visiting them for the summer. Later that evening, Trevor and I ended up talking and exchanging numbers. We quickly became the best of friends and remained that way for 7 years. Trev moved back to South Africa after that summer in San Diego. Thankfully, we both have the gift of the gab and we kept in touch over facetime and phone regularly. We were each other's sound boards and support system even with oceans between us. We never thought that we would end up together… It wasn't until I had gone through a big neck surgery due to a car accident that I realized my love for Trevor was much more than I had thought. He really helped me heal and get through that difficult time. He came to visit in Feburary, 2021 and we went on a snowboarding trip with some of our friends. When we weren't snowboarding, Trev and I bonded over watching "The Garden Gangsta" and the rest is history.... I soon moved to South Africa to be with him and we have continued to follow each other around the world ever since.
