Yes! Your prompt reply to our invitation is greatly appreciated. There are many details to finalize and an accurate guest count is crucial. We understand not everyone may be able to attend, though we hope you will. It is still our honor to share this wonderful news and extend an invitation so you might celebrate with us, even if only with best wishes.
Yes! We have already gone through the excitement and stress of starting a new home and life, and have pretty much everything we want and need. Traditional wedding gifts would likely either include duplicate items already in our home, not fit well with our needs, or simply clash spectacularly with our tastes. Truly, your love and friendship is gift enough. However, if it is your desire to participate in gift giving, we recommend one of the few specialty items listed on our registry page. You may also consider collaborating as a group by adding to our cash fund, which will specifically be used towards our honeymoon. Please accept our most sincere thanks and appreciation, mostly just for who you are.
We are planning a trip to Washington DC. We will be staying at the Hay-Adams Hotel, host to guests ranging from Amelia Earhart, 1928 to former President of the United States, Barack Obama. (When Barack Obama needed a place to stay ahead of his move to the White House, he chose the Hay-Adams.) While visiting the many monuments and museums we will also enjoy a smart and sophisticated fine dining experience at The Oceanaire Seafood Room. Before departing the city, we will take in a show at The Renaissance Main Stage. The Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor and the choral masterpiece, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. As we make our way back home, we will stay a night at Harrah's Cherokee Hotel and Resort in North Carolina. We are so very excited and will surely form lasting memories. We are truly grateful for any contributions to this rare experience.
Yes! We love you.
