Well dear friend or family member, Trev and Carissa are pretty casual people, and the farm is a casual place, so wear whatever you want! We have no idea what the weather will be like during March, but we're hoping for sunshine and Daffodils, but if it's there even a chance of rain, I'd wear shoes you don't mind gettin' dirty!
We love camping, but fully understand that not everyone enjoys roughing it as much as we do. But for those of you who love to sleep in a tent, we'd love to offer you a large, mostly cleared of cacti, open field for you to set up camp. You'll probably even get to see some stars :) Otherwise, you're welcome to stick around as late as you'd like. For those who choose to spend the night, feel free to bring whatever you'd like to make yourself at home. Smores, guitars and extra snacks or alcohol are encouraged.
Let us know ASAP, and we'll see if we can find you one! There are also accommodations for a few indoor sleepers, especially if you don't mind a sleeping bag and air mattress :) Also if you have an extra tent or bag you don't mind lending out for the night, please let us know!
You'll wanna grab your ankles and stick your butt in the air. ... Just kidding, that's just a quote from the best movie of all time (Twister. ) Fingers crossed the weather is nice, but mid-March in central Texas is always a bit of a gamble. Make sure to check the weather ahead of time, If the weather looks chilly, plan on about 10 degrees cooler and windier out at the farm. If it looks like rain, bring umbrellas, rain-jackets, boots, and some extra warm clothes! If you plan on jumping in the creek you should bring some extra clothes for that too :) If it looks like it's going to be torrential, please text one of the hosts and we'll let you know the plan.
