FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is nice casual. We want you to be comfortable and ready to celebrate! Think sundresses, skirts, jumpsuits, khakis, chinos, or nice collared shirts. Because our wedding is inspired by the beautiful Alaska landscape, we welcome you to wear earthy tones (like sage greens, blues, terracotta, warm browns, and neutrals) if you would like to match our vibe!

Question

Are there any clothing items I should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask you to leave the blue jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear, and baseball caps at home for the evening. Please also avoid bright neon colors so our earthy palette stays cohesive!

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM outside on the grass lawn. The reception will follow inside the building on the property. We highly recommend wearing block heals, wedges, flats, loafers, or boat shoes so you can walk comfortable on the grass without sinking.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will have a snack table available so you can grab a bite while we take photos. For dinner, we are serving a delicious, casual Mexican buffet with plenty of options to build your own plates!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

We will be hosting a complimentary champagne toast during the reception to celebrate our new marriage! Non-alcoholic sparkling cider will also be available so everyone can participate. Aside from this celebratory toast, no other alcohol will be served or available at the venue. We look forward to celebrating with a fun, family-friendly evening!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

A Mexican buffet is naturally great for customizing, but we still want to make sure you are taken care of! Please list any specific food allergies or dietary restrictions (such as gluten-free or dairy-free) when you submit your RSVP so we can coordinate with our team.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 3:00 PM. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early (between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM) so you can find a seat and settle in before we begin.

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off all phones and cameras and be fully present with us during this special time. Our professional photographer is capturing every moment, and we promise to share all photos with you afterwards! We will be posting photos on the website in the gallery section for families to download and keep. We warmly encourage guests to snap and share photos throughout the reception.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one or my children?

Answer

We love your families and kids are absolutely welcome! Due to venue capacity limits, we can only accommodate the specific guests listed on your invitation. When you visit the "RSVP" tab on the website, you will see the exact names and number of seats reserved for your party. If a name or plus-one is not listed there, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them.

Question

Where do I park my car?

Answer

There is a very large parking lot at the venue that can hold up to 80 vehicles. The address listed under the "Schedule" section will take you straight to the parking lot. To ensure your cars do not obstruct the photography, kindly park away from the lawn area.
