We're Getting Married!

In early December 2021, Trevor and Anna matched on Hinge. They exchanged a few messages but never really talked—until a fateful phone call over Christmas break. It was the first time Anna and Trevor had ever spoken, and what started as a casual call turned into a two-hour conversation filled with laughter, easy banter, and even a few made-up stories. That phone call sparked something neither of them could ignore, and soon after, they decided to meet in person. Their first date was at the Scrap Yard in Grand Rapids, where they went rock climbing. Anna was nervous, having never tried it before, but Trevor reassured her, and she quickly found her footing. Trevor was impressed by Anna’s determination and athletic ability, and they both loved how natural and fun the day felt. By the end of the date, it was clear that this was the start of something special. Over the next few years, Anna and Trevor built a relationship filled with adventure, shared passions, and countless laughs. Then, in May 2024, Trevor took their love story to new heights—literally. On a family trip to Hawaii to visit his brother AJ, Trevor secretly planned the perfect proposal. While the girls spent the day at the beach, Trevor and the guys scouted for the ideal spot. Later that evening, after a bumpy ride across lava rock roads, Trevor led Anna to a breathtaking location with black rocks and vibrant blue water as the backdrop. As the sun peeked through the clouds, Trevor got down on one knee and asked Anna to spend forever with him. Of course, she said yes! Now, they’re eagerly looking forward to their wedding day and the life they’ll build together.
