Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

SeaTac airport offers the most flight options and it is generally where we recommend you fly into if you are coming from out of town. The travel time from the airport to the recommended hotels is a little under two hours. If you'd like to avoid the drive and take the scenic route, there is a "LightRail" - the 1 Line that you can take out of the airport to King Street Station. From there, a train goes to Bellingham twice a day. If you'd rather avoid public transportation you can choose to rent a car (or ask for a carpool from others that you may know attending) and drive to the hotels.

Flight

Bellingham International Airport

The hotels are very close (~15 minutes) to Bellingham International Airport. However direct flights to Bellingham are less frequent than those to Seattle Tacoma International Airport. If you don't mind a two-leg trip there are quick flights from SeaTac to Bellingham.

Train

Amtrack Cascades

Trains run between Seattle and Vancouver B.C. twice daily. They depart from King Street Station in Downtown Seattle. Your stop will be the Bellingham (Fairhaven) Station. The Chrysalis and the Fairhaven Village Inn are both less than a 15 min walk from the Fairhaven Station.

The Chrysalis is right on the water, is walking distance (~8min) to downtown Fairhaven and very cozy. It has a spa inside that you can utilize as well as a sauna but Anika's favorite is the giant bathtub and gratis bubble bath in each room! It is about 30 minutes from the ceremony venue. If you are traveling from out of town, it is advised that you stay in the Fairhaven or Bellingham area. This hotel does book up early so if you'd like to stay here, we recommend booking early.

Fairhaven Village Inn

The Fairhaven Village Inn is right in the center of Fairhaven with easy walking access to shops and eateries. It is smaller and cozy with only about 30 rooms.

Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center

This is a bit further away from Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham but it just as far from the wedding venue as the other hotels.

Shuttle

Shuttle Service to Main Ceremony

August 29, 2026 2:00 pm

Shuttle transportation will be provided from Bellingham to the ceremony and back. All shuttles will leave the ceremony venue at 10pm when the event ends. If you think you may want to head back early, we recommend using your own transportation. Please let us know in your RSVP where you are staying and if you'd like to use the shuttle transport as that will help us plan optimal routes.
