During 2021 Allena was working retail while completing her degree. When she rang Trevor up they were both enamored. They were already friends on social media and immediately reconnected. They went on their first date a few weeks later, eating Culver's in the car listening to music, driving around enjoying the cool April air, and walking around Meijer late at night, it was a true midwestern romance. In the five years since then, a few things have changed. Allena graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's of Fine Art. Together Trevor and Allena have purchased their home and have renovated and continue to renovate. In their home their family has grown to include four furry friends, their three cats Mac, Charlie and Sweet Pea, aka Miss Pea, and their dog Bosco. The proposal was very anxiously awaited by Allena, but Trevor had it all planned out. A week long tour of the scenic Upper Peninsula of Michigan in June. Their romantic getaway including some of Allena's most beloved places like Mackinaw Island and Tahquamenon Falls, with breath taking scenery as a background. That is why Trevor proposed almost a full month earlier on May 31 of 2025. The ring they designed together was ready earlier than expected. Trevor found the perfect moment. Just the two of the in a serene butterfly house at the Detroit Zoo, full of bright flowers, fountains of gently rushing water, sitting together watching the butterflies gently glide through the air. Just enjoying a quiet moment in each other's presence, that was when Trevor decide to pop the question. With a tearful "Yes!" Allena was ready to start wedding planning.
