Kathleen and Trevor had their first chance encounter many years ago at Eastlake High School. Each ran in slightly different social circles, with Kathleen being an incredibly involved and motivated student (with a boyfriend) and Trevor being a slightly less studious troublemaker. They missed each other like two ships passing in the night. Years later, through a mutual friend (Robert Gibson) they were reacquainted at Matt’s in Redmond during a happy hour. This happy hour with Trevor, Kathleen, Robert and Andrea blossomed into a recurring after work event. The courtship between Trevor and Kathleen was in full force. The happy hours eventually led to a Cinco de Mayo party where the first kiss occurred (fueled by a little tequila courage). Trevor asked Kathleen out on their first official date the next day. Kathleen and Trevor both knew they had found someone special and could not believe how fortunate they were to be reintroduced after so many years. Trevor would not risk losing her again, so a little over 18 months later, he proposed in Loreto, Mexico with Kathleen’s parents present.
