We’re getting married!!

Trev and I first met when he came to Idaho to visit his best friend back in 2013. It just so happens his best friend's girlfriend (now Fiance) was/is my best friend. Now, this was years ago, so as expected a group of us were taking Patron shots and spending our time playing beer pong. The girl to guy ratio was exactly 1:1. Little did he know, I called dibs on him during the car ride over with my girlfriends. We hit it off, though neither of us were in a position to take it seriously. Something happened that night (Neither one of us could tell you what) but something did happen. 5 years and a lot of life later we reconnected. Mind you, Trev has been living in Houghton Lake, Michigan this entire time and I had been living in Boise, Idaho. I flew to Michigan to spend New Years 2019 with him and fell in love with him right in the heart of Traverse City, MI at Mackinaw Brewing. Trev had me laughing so hard I was falling over in the booth...the tequila may have helped with the falling over part. (; Needless to say, our New Years was spent perfectly together, enjoying each other's company, and silently dreading our time together coming to an end. I left to go back home January 3rd. and that was the day "He knew". January 9th- Our first big decision together. The decision to move me out to Michigan. January 16th- The day he asked me with a dozen and a half of the most beautiful roses, to be his person. February 19th- The first day of our three day trek home to Michigan from Idaho. February 23rd- The day he got down on one knee, right there in Traverse City, where he first swept me off my feet, and now where I became the Future Mrs. Kersten. Our love story has bloomed fast and is forever lasting, The Kersten Way.
