We met in the most romantic place in the world—central Florida. We were camp counselors at a camp for overweight middle schoolers. We were both in college and we met in the counselors' lounge. We struck up a conversation as The Office was on TV we both found ourselves chuckling at the same scenes. After a few minutes of conversation, it was clear we shared a similar sense of humor. Then the relationship evolved as we realized we shared more than just a similar sense of humor. Our first "date" was at the laundry mat at the camp and naturally, sparks flew. From Tennessee to Austin, DC, and Denver we have been best buddies and enjoying life together, ever since.
