FAQs

Question

What will weather be like?

Answer

While it will summer, we will be at a higher elevation and it can get chilly as it gets later in the evening. The average temperature this time of year is about 80 degrees during the day and 55 degrees during the night.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

While there is a parking lot adjacent to the canyon road, you will be able to drive further in and park directly at the Jordan Pines group campsite. To get to the campground entrance, turn right from the main canyon road, drive about 300 yards, and it will be on your left.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The whole family is welcome!

Question

So... can I stay at the campground that night?

Answer

Absolutely! Feel free to bring any camping equipment if you'd like to take the opportunity to camp. We rented out all five group campgrounds in the area, so you're essentially fine to camp anywhere. With lots of parking space, you could car camp or bring your RV or trailer tent. We will have spare tents set up for anyone who wants to camp but does not have equipment or feels they cannot drive home for any reason. If you know you'd like to borrow a tent, please let us know in advance. If you do end up camping, please be respectful and clean up after yourselves at your site.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the event is "dressy-casual". If that means nothing to you, then you're not alone! I'll be more descriptive. Men: tie optional, nice shirt (buttons preferred) and slacks. Women: Dresses, sundresses, skirts, dress pants, and blouses all welcome.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. Outside of the ceremony itself, you're more than welcome to take photos.

Question

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We will have signs up to get you to the right place. There will be a little trail from the main parking lot of the Pine Grove campsite that will lead you right to the ceremony, and the reception is only 100 feet or so away through the trees.

Question

How long will the reception last?

Answer

It's expected to last until 10-11 pm.

Question

When will food be served?

Answer

Food is expected to be served somewhere between 7:00 and 7:30.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Of course! Just be sure to indicate that when you RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount. If you haven't already done so, you can RSVP on this site!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 1. The earlier, the better, but we understand uncertainties in planning. If you RSVP and something comes up and you're no longer able to attend, you can go to the RSVP section of this website, find your name, and indicate you're unable to come. You can also reach out to us directly if that's easier.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages. We will also have homebrewed beer in specially-labeled bottles for the occasion. You're welcome to keep the bottle as a keepsake if you wish.

Question

Where should I sit?

Answer

The front row will be reserved for direct family members, but outside of that, you're free to sit where your heart desires.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We have our home fully decked out with all of the home and cookware we need. Attending our wedding is the only gift we really need, but if you'd like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, a monetary gift would be lovely. If you'd like to use Venmo, head to the registry section of this site for more information.

Question

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding?

Answer

You can email us at robinette90+wedding@gmail.com or text/call us at 385-321-0249
