Rockfish Public House
Our favorite restaurant - Ian's parents' too! When we're itching for some seafood (or 3 dozen oysters), we go to Rockfish. There are great bars and boutiques nearby as well, ask any Yorker for recommendations!
LUCA Wood-Burning Italian Kitchen
Luca is one of our favorite restaurants in Lancaster! Any dish is delicious, and they have a HUGE selection of Amari (if you like lil' something sweet, try See the Elephant Amaro).
National Watch and Clock Museum
Fun fact: Columbia is home to the largest timepiece collection of the entire North America (over 13,000 to be exact).
Amish Country
Visit Lancaster, PA's Amish Country! Take a tour, milk a cow, frame a house, read a book, turn off the lights. You know... Amish stuff.
Hershey Park
You can't come to Central PA without visiting Hershey Park at least once! With weather permitting, the amusement park is open during weekends in October. Check their website for Hershey Halloween events which usually run September - November. If rollercoasters aren't your thing, there's still plenty to do in the town of Hershey!
Tucquan Glen & Pyfer Nature Preserves
Tucquan Glen is a beautiful hiking trail with swimming holes! Please note that the trails are not paved.
Burning Bridge Antique Market
Our favorite antique store right down the street from our house. We could spend hours wandering around the store. Bonus points if you can find the antique clown portrait Ian refuses to let Sophie buy.
