Are Kids Invited ?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. We want our wedding to be your night off, so we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand...There is a 21 and up age limit.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue ?

Yes, shuttle service will be provided. Please check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.

Can I bring a date ?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions our guest count has been limited. If your invitation says more than 1 seat has been reserved in your name, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. ** Please remember your date must be 21 or older **

The greatest gift you can give us on our special day is to be truly present in the moment. So we kindly ask you to please turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony and enjoy this special moment with us. Once cocktail hour begins feel free to snap away and don't forget to tag us #HappilyEverHarris

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 6pm (no later than 6:20pm) . The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm and we kindly ask all guests to be in the building and seated. If you arrive after the ceremony start time, you will be asked to wait in the lobby until the ceremony has commenced.......Please be on time

What type of food will be served ? What if I have dietary restrictions ?

Answer

We hope you love pasta, tacos and Jamaican fare as there will be 3 food stations for your enjoyment !! There will be vegetarian options available as well. A bountiful dessert table along with coffee/tea service will be provided during the night. And of course OPEN BAR !! *Please notify us as soon as possible about any special dietary needs you have so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

You can do either or ....A RSVP is absolutely REQUIRED for everyone. It is essential in planning for the ceremony seating & reception meals. In order for us to be able to accommodate a meal for you; you must RSVP prior to the deadline of September 17, 2020,

Room Block ?

Answer

For out of town guests or those in-town guests who want to stay at the hotel near the venue, we have reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn & Suites. (please use the link provided in "Travel" accommodations on the website). Shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the venue. Please use “contact us” link on this page for more information.

What if I don't RSVP, May I still come to the ceremony and/or reception ?

Answer

Unfortunately No. An RSVP is required. Due to COVID restrictions and seating limitations for the reception meals, accommodations will NOT be made for those who do not RSVP. This will be strictly enforced !!

What is the weather like this time of year ?

Answer

It's Illinois ... who knows but we hope it's a beautiful day ! Please refer to the local weather app as it gives a current forecast of the weekend you will be here.

Will there be a virtual option for the ceremony for those that cannot attend in person?

Answer

Yes !! There will be a virtual stream of our ceremony via ZOOM. The link with all information is listed (below) and also on our wedding website under the Schedule tab . We appreciate all of the love and support and wish we could celebrate with everyone in person, unfortunately due to the nature of COVID being an issue. This is our next best option. What precautions are beng taken in regards to COVID-19 ?

Answer

Your temperature will be scanned at the door upon arrival. Masks will be available as well as hand sanitizer for your use. Wash your hands frequently. The venue will be sanitized every 20 minutes and more frequently for high touch areas. It is not mandatory that you wear your mask while inside, however everyone has their own personal comfort level. Do what works best for you. We would like to see your face in our photos, so you may be asked to remove it briefly. The seating arrangements for the ceremony and the reception have been strategically placed in accordance of what is allowed by the state and the venue for proper social distancing. As always if you or your guest feel ill in anyway or are showing any symptoms, please stay home to keep others safe. Our ceremony wil be streamed live via Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
