Yes! We're hosting a welcome gathering on Friday, October 9th at Ray's family home in Peconic (125 Robinson Lane, Peconic, NY 11958). All guests are welcome. This is why we recommend arriving Friday and staying through Sunday!

We have room blocks at three hotels: Sound View Greenport — our venue hotel, right on the water in Greenport. Rooms are available at a discounted rate for our guests. A 2-night minimum (Friday and Saturday) is required. Book using the link on our Accommodations page. Cutoff date to reserve is August 1, 2026. Residence Inn by Marriott Riverhead — located about 30 minutes from the venue in Riverhead, NY. A great option if Sound View is sold out. Cutoff date is August 28, 2026. The Greenporter / Oyster Estate — a boutique hotel in the heart of Greenport village, walking distance from the waterfront. A block is available for our guests at $475/night. Cutoff date is August 26, 2026. We recommend booking early — all blocks are limited and October on the North Fork fills up fast.
Yes! We will be providing shuttle service on the evening of the wedding. Shuttles will depart from two pickup locations: Residence Inn by Marriott — Riverhead, NY The Greenporter / Oyster Estate — Greenport, NY All guests are welcome to use the shuttle regardless of where you're staying — just meet at whichever location is most convenient for you. Additional details including exact pickup times will be provided closer to the date. Please let us know in advance if you plan to use the shuttle so we can add you to the list.
Sound View Greenport is about 98 miles from New York City on Long Island's North Fork — approximately a 2-hour drive. By Car (recommended) Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) East to Exit 73, then follow County Road 58 East to Northville Turnpike, then Sound Avenue East (Route 48). Sound View will be on your right. We strongly recommend leaving Friday morning or early afternoon to beat weekend traffic. By Hampton Jitney The North Fork route runs from Midtown Manhattan (41st St & 3rd Ave) to Greenport in about 3 hours. Book in advance — it fills up on fall weekends. Visit hamptonjitney.com for schedules. By Train The LIRR runs from Penn Station to Greenport with a transfer at Ronkonkoma (approximately 3.5–4 hours). Note that you'll need a car or ride service from the Greenport station to the venue. Ubers can be unreliable in Greenport — we recommend arranging transportation in advance. Nearest Airports JFK / LaGuardia — approximately 1 hour 45 minutes Long Island MacArthur (ISP, Ronkonkoma) — approximately 45 minutes
