We met when our dogs ran up to greet each other at the river while Trent was visiting Cody for a weekend. After talking briefly, neither of us thought much of the encounter until a few months later when we met again in Bozeman. And it just clicked. There were hikes, afternoons in the sun, exploring Wyoming with the dogs, a trip to Zion that inspired the theme our life together will take. We can’t wait to start our next adventure together and be with our loved ones on the best day of our life.
Trent dragged me up 52 thousand switchbacks on my favorite hike and the dogs were the most obedient they've ever been. At a cliff overhang that looked over a meadow with Bighorn sheep grazing below, he asked me to marry him. Trent proposed with the ring my Grandfather Fred Lee bought in 1952 and proposed to my Grandmother Lucy with, making a special moment even more heartfelt.
