Travel Note
Alaska is an amazing place unlike any other. Millions of travelers visit the state every year to see its unrivaled natural beauty. This means that transportation to our wedding will be something all guests should plan for to avoid any delays or disruptions. There are several options available to choose from depending on the specific needs of each traveller.
Flight
Most travelers will fly into Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. For guests who do not wish to drive the rest of the way, the closest minor airport will be in Kenai. Grant Aviation and Kenai Aviation both operate flights from Anchorage to Kenai.
Rental Car
For guests who want to explore Alaska's natural beauty on the road to Kenai, we recommend renting a car from the Ted Stevens International Airport and drive to Kenai along the famous Seward Highway and Sterling Highway. Estimated travel time: 3.5 hours, depending on traffic (it is a single lane highway the entire route) Head south out of Anchorage towards Girdwood, then continue along to Cooper Landing and finally to Kenai/Soldotna. For travelers with extra time, Homer is a beautiful town at the end of the road.
Hotel
There are a variety of hotels, bed and breakfasts, short term rentals, and other options for lodging. Book early! This is just one option that is close to the venue AND we got a special rate! There are 15 double queens blocked out at our wedding rate of $169 +tax. Any rooms not booked by 07.03.25 will be released from the group block.
