The bride and groom were both attending a football Friday Night Lights with friends of their own when they were seated next to one another. The groom left early with his friends and messaged the bride after the football game to see what the final score was. Little did he know, this message would be the start of an endless conversation and friendship with the bride.
While the bride's mother may have believed that the bride was going to catch a movie with her friend (to which she now knows was not the whole truth- sorry mom), the bride and groom had their first “unofficial” date to see the new Incredibles 2 film that had just come out at Studio Movie Grill in Tyler, TX.
The cat was out of the bag! The bride and groom had been talking for quite a while now, and it was time to make it official. The groom had dinner at the bride's house with her family (a steak dinner; compliments of uncle bubba) and the two decided to make things official.
After 6 friendship, fun, and growth filled years- the groom planned a trip to celebrate their 6 year anniversary, and unbeknownst to the bride, their engagement. He planned every piece of it from the location to the photographer, and somehow managed to hide it all from the bride (although she was VERY hopeful). It was the most beautiful day and the joy that has followed is a gift from the Lord. The bride and groom are ecstatic to start the rest of their lives together and are so thankful for everyone who has poured into their hearts, as individuals and a couple, over the years.
