In August of 2024, after Trenton asked a family friend how he met his wife (through a dating app); he signed up and matched with Denice a few days later. Denice and Trenton started chatting and quickly realized they had much in common – a desire for a Christ-centered relationship that prioritizes family and new experiences. Within a few days there was a FaceTime call that led to an in-person first date in Tri-Cities. It went so well that the next day they had a 12-hour date to Mt. Rainier National Park that included meaningful conversation, grabbing coffee, and a hike in nature. Since then, their relationship has grown through quality time together and shared experiences. When Denice first visited Boise over Labor Day weekend, they took a trip to McCall that included many laughs, stand-up paddleboarding, and a romantic walk along the lake. They’ve since explored Leavenworth, gone snow-shoeing in Sun Valley, enjoyed quiet weekends together, and even traveled to Oaxaca, where Trenton had the chance to meet Denice’s family and experience her culture. Despite the distance, they’ve been committed to seeing each other nearly every other weekend, making the most of their time together and building a deep connection. Their story came full circle when on March 27th, during a trip to McCall, Trenton got down on one knee and asked Denice to be his wife. As they prepare for their wedding day, they look forward to building a life together with Christ at the center and are excited to celebrate with you all.
