Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Formal Cocktail Attire For our shore wedding, we invite guests to embrace a style that combines classic elegance with a coastal touch, think elevated yet beachy. Some ideas for women, cocktail dresses in mini, midi, or full-length styles with an elevated finish, and for men, a suit or well-tailored blazer and dress pants.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We invite guests to join us for the Welcome Party on Friday at the Whitebrier starting at 7PM, as well as the After Party at the Princeton following the reception. Also, feel free to stick around on Sunday to watch the Birds play!

Question

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

There will be shuttles provided to the reception venue from various stops starting at 4:30 PM from: The Reeds in Stone Harbor (across from the church on 96th St), the ICONA in Avalon (78th St), and the Princeton in Avalon (21st St). There will be no transportation provided ahead of the ceremony. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the Princeton for those looking to continue the celebration. The shuttle will also continue down the island to transport guests back to the ICONA and Stone Harbor.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Accessible parking is available at both the church and reception venue. Shuttles will be provided to and from the reception for guests staying in Stone Harbor and Avalon.

Question

Things to do between the ceremony and reception

Answer

There will be about an hour and a half between the end of the ceremony and when the shuttles begin looping to the reception. The church is conveniently located near the heart of Stone Harbor, if you’d like to enjoy a cocktail with a nice bay view, we recommend stopping by The Reeds!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we’re keeping the big celebration adults-only, we’d love for your children to join us at the welcome party on Friday! Kids are also more than welcome at the ceremony.

Question

Answer

We’ve carefully crafted our guest list to stay within venue capacity, so plus-ones are included only for those formally addressed on the invitation. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!
