We’re getting married!

Our story began our sophomore year of high school. We actually signed a fake marriage certificate to make college cheaper. Anyways, Trent was different than any man I had ever met, he did not do the typical things other guys were doing in our grade. He did not smoke, cuss, drink, etc and I was very intrigued by him. Shortly after becoming friends in April of 2015, Trent shared the most important information I would ever hear in my life. He asked me if I knew what the Gospel was and if I knew what Salvation meant. This was the most important question I had ever been asked and my reply was, no i do not. He then took the time to write out exactly what the Gospel is and that every single person is a sinner and comes short of the glory of God. He gave me verse after verse explaining that I was not saved because I had never received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and that if I died today, i would spend an eternity in hell. After him explaining that all I have to do is pray to God and admit that I am a sinner, believe that Jesus Christ is who He says He is and that he died on the cross for my sins and rose again 3 days later defeating sin and death, and confess ( through prayer) to the Lord that I need him to save me, that I would then be saved. I knew I had to receive it and immediately following reading that message and explanation, I GOT SAVED!!! I was so touched that Trent cared enough about me to tell me the Gospel. He has been by my side every step of the way since I received Christ and encouraged me in my walk with the Lord. We have been together since July of 2015 and i could not imagine life without him. He truly is my best friend. And now I get to marry the man that has shown me unconditional love and been an example of Jesus Christ every single day in the way he talks, acts, and cares for me. I cannot thank God enough for such an amazing and Godly man to spend the rest of my life with 💍💓
