Stacy discovered a friend was going with a group of people to see the new Thor movie opening night. She invited herself to tag along, and met everyone at the theater. While sitting in their seats waiting for the movie to start at midnight, Trent discovered Stacy's love of the show Smallville. We weren't sitting next to each other, so Trent arranged a plan with his friend that he would get up and leave for a few minutes, his friend would move seats and steal his, forcing Trent to take the empty seat next to Stacy when he came back. Once he returned and sat down, we began talking, and discovered we both shared the same love and excitement over so many of the same things. There was a spark immediately between the two of us, and we both left that night hoping we'd see the other again soon.

Leading up to our 7th anniversary, Trent had plans to propose! Although it seemed that other things kept interfering, plans were getting altered, and he was afraid the weekend would pass by without it happening. The evening before their anniversary, Stacy was already settled in for the night at home when Trent said he needed to talk to her. Stacy sat down on the couch, and when he came into the room he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and popped the question - asking if she would be his Beloved. Stacy said yes, and they were finally engaged!
