Question

How is the weather in Manual Antonio?

Answer

The temperature is stable year-round, in the high 80s to low 90s. From May through August, expect an afternoon thunderstorm for an hour or so. These are fun to watch from the comfort of your rental. From September to November it gets much more rainy, but you can catch some of the most spectacular sunsets at this time of year.

Question

Is Manuel Antonio Safe?

Answer

While Manuel Antonio is generally safe, you should, as in all areas, take the normal precautionary measures against pick-pocketing, such as avoiding isolated areas and not wearing expensive jewelry. If you rent a car, keep it locked with the windows up anytime you leave it and park in well-lit areas.

Question

Why did you pick Manual Antonio Beach?

Answer

Manual Antonio and Costa Verde hold a very dear place in my heart. My grandmother was from Costa Rica and I spent most of my summers in Costa Rica as a child and teenager. It is what I like to call "heaven on earth" with the most beautiful oceans and sunsets and an array of interesting wildlife. Here are some other interesting facts! -Manuel Antonio is home to countless marine species, birds, and mammals, which means you’ll have plenty of opportunities for wildlife watching. It's common to see monkeys and even sloths on hotel, or restaurant grounds. With any luck, you’ll get to see them up close! -Manuel Antonio was on Forbes’ list of the twelve most beautiful parks in the world as well as one of TripAdvisor’s 25 featured beaches for Traveller’s Choice. The combination of rainforest, beach, and coral reefs are outstanding. -Manuel Antonio is an activity base for surfing, kayaking, sport fishing (Quepos & its brand new Marina Pez Vela (Sailfish), rafting, and ziplining.

Question

How do we get around if we do not have a car?

Answer

Public taxis and buses are readily available at the hotel reception. The town of Quepos is just a 10-minute taxi ride (3 miles) from the hotel. The public bus stops in front of the hotel about every 30 minutes
