HECK YES WE DO!

Mahina and Trent first met on the Club Tennis team at ASU in 2016. One day after practice Mahina said “Hi” to Trent, to which his response sounded something like “hehhh”. Luckily, Mahina thought this was very cute. The two started eating dinners together after practice and eventually Trent found the courage to ask Mahina to hike “A” Mountain with him. After the hike, Trent offered to buy her ice cream, but Mahina said “no” because that would make it a date. One week later, they went on their first official date at the Schnepf Farms Fall Festival. 6 years later, they are tying the knot at the spot where it all began.

Trent proposed to Mahina in the summer of 2021 in Rocky Point, Mexico. Mahina thought this was just a fun family vacation (but she was concerned why Trent was sweating so much that day). During a sunset walk on the beach, Trent pulled Mahina towards the water where he got down on one knee. Obviously, Mahina said yes! Afterwards, they enjoyed a bottle of champagne together on the beach and celebrated their engagement.
