We're getting married!!

It was the first day of school, my first semester at Haskell. I was waiting in line at the registrar's when I notice Trent packing up his backpack in the corner. He tries to make some joke I don't understand at the time haha! Next day, we found each other in the same class, Trigonometry. Over the next few months I was seeing him everywhere—HINU football games, student activities, working in Walmart, or throwing parties with his roommates.. Evenually we became friends and his sweet, lovable, funny personality won me over (:

We officially began dating after a couple home cooked spaghetti meals and Wreck-It Ralph movie nights 🫶🏽 our first summer together was spent in lawrence where we enjoyed bike rides, sand volleyball, lake walks, and late nights at the pool with friends. Over the next couple years, we made so many fun memories at college with our friends and travelling to visit family. We were there for each other during big milestones and everything else life throws at you while growing into young adults. We even made it through a pandemic together! And in 2020, we were blessed with the cutest most bestest shih tzu boy we could ever ask for, Appa! We love our little family <3

We went on a camping trip at Twin Lakes, Colorado with our friends Mariah & Donovan. They picked a beautiful scenic spot to set up camp for the weekend—Mountain view and aspen trees surrounding! Our second evening there they did their best to distract me and eventually take me back to the campsite where Trent had a path of roses leading to him with a “MARRY ME” sign and a 💍 in his hand! Appa and I rushed over to him with happiness on our faces! And of course I said YES!
