Sealing the deal.

It all started on Instagram. One innocuous DM led to a coffee date the very next morning. One date led to another, and before we knew it, we were dating long distance between Monroe and Lafayette. 3 years and 400 miles later, we're enjoying ourselves together in Austin, TX.

Buhlow Lake is a beautiful destination right here in Alexandria's backyard. We decided to enjoy the sunset here with an evening of hammocking. It was going great - our conversation could have lasted all night. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Buhlow's hours of operation. Long story short, we got locked in, Trent spent the night in the park, and Kassidy was eaten alive by mosquitos.

Although Buhlow beat us once before, Trent didn't let that deter him from facing it again. He planned an exact remake of our first evening together. Instead of ending with mosquito bites and a night of sleeping in the car, it ended with Christmas lights and our engagement.
