If you are flying in, we highly recommend arriving at the John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA). It is just a short 10-minute drive from there to Newport Beach.
You can rent a car if you like having that freedom, otherwise it is pretty easy to get around that area using Uber and Lyft (this will allow you to avoid parking difficulties). Many of the wedding events are within a 10-minute walk from each other, or a fairly cheap Lyft/Uber away! There is also a free trolley that runs along the Balboa Peninsula, so you can get around via the trolley from 10am-9:30pm on Saturday and Sunday (details below).
As for where to stay, we recommend getting an Airbnb or a VRBO for larger groups anywhere on the peninsula around Newport Pier or Lido Harbor. If you want to rent a hotel room, just a few of our recommendations are listed below. There are so many great options in that area that are in perfect walking distance. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask us!
