The ceremony will begin at 3pm Eastern Time, so we ask that guests arrive and be seated at least 15 minutes before.
There are three general locations to stay: - Our wedding venue, the Lily Barn, is located in Townsend, TN. They recommend Tremont Lodge & Resort, or there are numerous hotel and cabin rental options. - Sunday brunch is being offered for our guests at our cabin rental, the Blue Skies Cabin, in Wears Valley. This is ~30 minutes from both Townsend and Gatlinburg and offers all sizes of cabin rentals. - If you want to enjoy more downtown and tourist activities, we suggest staying in the Gatlinburg area, which offers a variety of lodging options. This is about an hour from the Lily Barn in Townsend.
Plus one's will be specified on the formal invitation. We understand it's more fun to bring along your significant other, so we planned accordingly! However, please adhere to the guest number included on your formal invitation for our planning purposes and due to venue capacity. We kindly ask that you put your phones away and on silent for our unplugged ceremony. We have a great photographer who will be capturing the day! Any and all photos are strongly encouraged at the reception! We ask that you refrain from sharing photos to social media until the following day and allow the bride and groom to be the first to post their first photo as a married couple.
We ask that guests wear cocktail attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, so please doublecheck the weather and plan accordingly!
