We met in a bar. Let me explain. The company Bethany works for hosts an annual Christmas party, and this past year they happened to rent out The Gig - a bar in downtown Beaumont. Trent and Bethany were both lined up to perform in the company's talent show. Trent did an Elvis impersonation where he sang, "Jail House Rock." Bethany, dressed in a Santa Clause onesie, sang, "Friends In Low Place," with a group of two others. After Trent asked Bethany to dance for approximately 30 seconds. At the end of the night Trent's date, and sister, encouraged him to get Bethany's number. So, naturally he asked his step mother to track it down. He called Bethany the next day, but no answer. So, he left a voicemail. After no response he sent her a text a week later asking her to get coffee. She agreed, and they got coffee at Rao's Bakery in Beaumont, Texas at 7:00am. The rest is history.
