Things To Do
Michigan is beautiful in the summer! Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are beautiful to visit. South Haven, Grand Haven & Saugatuck are on Lake Michigan, 2.5-3 hours west. Port Huron & Lakeport State Park are on Lake Huron, approximately 2 hours north.
Maumee Bay State Park is about 35 minutes south in Ohio.
NOTE: We have these creatures called fish flies/may flies in June/July near the water. They are a sign of a health ecosystem but are gross, in my opinion. They are worse at night & attracted to light. Our apologies in advance for them and for getting married during the time they are most common!
