We’re getting married!

Back during the COVID days, when meeting new people felt nearly impossible, Alaina stumbled across Trent on the WVU Athletics page. She added him on Snapchat, and they started chatting. As fate would have it, they were both moving into the same apartment complex in Morgantown for their sophomore year. They met in person at a party—and instantly hit it off. What started as a friendship quickly turned into something more. Their first date was in August 2020, when Trent took Alaina to The Melting Pot in Station Square, Pittsburgh. After dinner, they rode the incline up to the Mt. Washington overlook and took in the city lights together. It was magical—and the beginning of something truly special. Since then, their relationship has been filled with WVU football games, unforgettable tailgates, golf tournaments, boating trips, country concerts, and countless camping & hiking trips. In November 2024, Trent proposed to Alaina during a visit to Pinehurst, North Carolina. It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon. After Mass that morning, Trent took Alaina to brunch, then suggested a walk through the charming Village of Pinehurst. During that walk, he got down on one knee and asked Alaina to spend forever with him. Of course, she said yes! Now, they can’t wait to begin their happily ever after on October 10, 2026.
