The Beginning Their love story started at Holy Cross Anglican Church. Two paths intertwined as Zane worked the AV system and Trenée sang on the praise team. Years passed before they were introduced. From that moment, their connection quickly strengthened as beaches became their favorite spot to spend time; even if the water was too cold to swim. The couple spent hours sitting on the shore or in the car, enjoying each other's company and people-watching. Life took them on separate journeys, when Zane moved to Grand Bahama and Trenée was transferred to Abaco. After a year apart, filled with seemingly countless flights and short visits, they were reunited in the second city. The Proposal The day Trenée landed in Freeport with everything she owned marked a beautiful new chapter in their lives. Zane was there to greet her, loaded his jeep, and made the 2 hour drive from the port at Mclean's Town to downtown Freeport. To her surprise, he had decorated his home in her favorite color. Pink candles, balloons, and soft lighting creating a warm and welcoming space. With the love and excitement in the air, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes, and now, here they are, ready to celebrate their love!
