We're getting married!

Trevor threw a party at his college home in Boulder. Later on in the night, Trevor saw a girl he'd never met (Elizabeth) standing on her tippy toes in his kitchen, trying to steal his giant bucket of pretzels -- and we mean GIANT, Costco-sized bucket -- from his hiding spot on the top shelf. Elizabeth had his attention (but, sadly, not the pretzels - Trevor wouldn't let her have those.)

T+E have been adventuring the mountains of Colorado since they first started dating (see: "Adventures"), so nothing felt out of the ordinary for Elizabeth when Trevor suggested a backpacking trip over the weekend outside Rollinsville, CO. Trevor had been planning for months and months to find the perfect spot to ask Elizabeth to marry him - Heart Lake - but to her, it sounded like another "Sandy Saturday." Though a storm loomed over the mountains as they drove to the trailhead, the clouds seemed to part on either side as they made the long hike to their campsite for the night. That Saturday morning, they crawled out of their hammocks for a sunrise hike to Heart Lake, which laid vantage to the many other peaks T+E had summited over the years. Sitting on the shore of the glass-topped lake, Trevor made coffee for Elizabeth in the alpenglow, and they reminisced about memories made over the years. Then, Trevor got down on one knee to pop the question. It was exactly how Elizabeth dreamed of saying "Yes."
