Gruene
This Historic District has great restaurants (including Trek and Catherine's favorite lunch spot - Mozie's) and the oldest dance hall in Texas: Gruene Hall (where Catherine's parents AND grandparent's met!) It is a popular tourist destination and a must see!
Landa Park
A beautiful park at the center of New Braunfels. It has beautiful oak trees, a great hiking trail (Panther Canyon) and a golf course!
Sidecar
One of the coolest spots in town - a great place to get a drink and listen to live music. Reservations are required.
Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country
Camp Fimfo is right by the venue and has lots of fun activities including pickleball, minigolf, and an alpine coaster! It also offers accommodations for couples or groups.
Huisache Grill
We love this restaurant! It is in Downtown New Braunfels and is perfect for a date night. Fun fact: Trek took Catherine here for lunch right before he proposed!
Muck & Fuss Craft Beer and Burgers
This restaurant has delicious burgers and is in Downtown New Braunfels! It is also right by the Side Car bar, so come here before heading down to the speakeasy!
San Antonio River Walk
If you have never been to Central Texas, this is a must visit! The San Antonio Riverwalk is right by the Alamo (never forget), La Villita Historic Village, Hemisfair Park (built for the World's Fair in 1968) and (our favorite) the Pearl Brewery District!
Pearl Brewery
Right off the river is the Pearl Brewery, a reimagining of the old factory site where Pearl Beer was brewed. It features great restaurants, bars, shops, and sights.
Natural Bridge Caverns
Our local cave system! They have a cool selection of cave tours and also have a wildlife tour.
