Alexis and Trei first connected in 2014 through Snapchat while freshmen at Georgia State University. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something deeper over the years. They spent countless moments together—walking to class, attending events, celebrating birthdays, and creating memories—while unknowingly building the foundation for their future. In 2018, after years of friendship, Trei finally asked Alexis out to dinner, and from that moment on, everything fell into place. Together, they graduated college, traveled, and grew into adulthood side by side. On January 22, 2025, Trei proposed in the sweetest, most thoughtful way. Under the Atlanta skyline at Jackson Bridge—a place meaningful to their relationship—he surprised her with roses while “Back At One” played nearby on a saxophone. The night ended with a surprise engagement party surrounded by their closest family and friends.
