Saint Regis Mountain

This is one of the hikes required to complete the Saranac Lake 6'er challenge and a Freeburg “go-to”. Distance is 3.3 miles to summit and what a view!!

Mount Baker Trail

Good short hike for those of you staying in Saranac Lake, it's one of the mountains the bride and groom hiked before moving to Minnesota. Distance is 0.9 miles to summit.

Whiteface Mountain Veterans Memorial highway

Up for the mountain view’s but not the hike? Drive up the backside of whiteface Mountain. It’s the 3rd tallest in New York and has a castle at the top. Plus you can see the wedding venue from the top

Lake Placid Bobsled Experience

This is a really fun experience. You actually get to ride a bobsled down the Olympic track! Call ahead at least 72 hours to make a reservation

There is a lot to do if you go to this website. Extreme tubing down the ski jump hill, the ski jump tour, paintball biathlon are a few activities. Get online to make a reservation or just walk in

The visitors interpretative center is a good place to hike around on flat trails and see wildlife.
