Brooke and Kyle have been friends since high school and performed in musicals together. They became closer freshman year of college while attending Penn State. They’ve explored Minneapolis and NYC together, and more to come! They do not see each other often, but have plenty of inside jokes to keep them laughing while hundreds of miles apart.
Katrina Buchanan
Officiant/Bridesmaid
Katrina has been friends with Brooke for almost 15 years! Brooke and Katrina met in middle school, while performing in Brooke’s favorite musical experience, Around the World in 80 Days. They went to high school together and performed in many more shows at Collegiate and the Erie Playhouse. Over the years, Katrina practically became a part of Brooke’s family, coming to many family functions and even going to New Orleans with Michelle and Steve for Brooke’s 21st birthday. The distance from Chicago and Charleston is grand, but their friendship always picks up right where it was left off, as if no times has passed.
Courtney Bates
Bridesmaid
Courtney and Brooke met while performing together in Sweeney Todd in Charleston, which was Brooke’s first musical since high school. They did not become friends until “tech week”, but quickly became close, spending many days at the pool at Brooke’s apartment & exploring Charleston together. They quickly met each other’s friends and became one big fun group for Frank to meet once he finally moved to Charleston in 2019.
Bryan Grilli
Best Man
Bryan is someone that Frank could always rely on and is essentially family. Frank and Bryan’s mothers have actually been friends since around Kindergarten, which is probably just about how long Frank and Bryan have know each other. This magical day would be incomplete without Bryan’s presence!
Tom O’Donnell
Groomsman
Frank and Tom met during college when Frank was accepted into the Sapphire program. The Sapphire program wasn’t long-term for Frank, but the friendship certainly was. Tom ended up being Frank’s roommate and good friend for seven/eight semesters. Tom was and has still been a very good friend, and Frank is happy to share this day with him.
Ryan Johnson
Groomsman
Frank and Ryan met during middle school. He is one of Frank’s oldest friends that he still talks to now. Even though they don’t see each other much, they always find a way to keep each other up to date on big life events. During middle and high school, Frank and Ryan used to do everything together. Frank is excited to share this very special day with an old friend.
