Our story started back in 2014 at Splash Adventures. Neither of us knew that a summer job would turn into something that lasted far beyond that season. Our first date was simple: dinner at Applebee’s, followed by a walk through Railroad Park just talking and getting to know each other. No big plans, no pressure—just good conversation and an easy connection. Eleven years later, not much has changed in the best way. We still love spending time together, watching a new TV series, and being around family. Life grew a little louder and a lot sweeter when Journee was born in September 2017. Becoming parents together added a whole new level of love, teamwork, and purpose. Vadarrien is the outgoing one, Treasure keeps everything organized, and laughter is a daily thing—usually over silly jokes that only make sense to us. If there’s one word that sums us up, it’s growth. We've grown up together, learned together, and chosen each other through every season, always keeping God first. The proposal happened at the Botanical Gardens, and now we're getting ready to celebrate the next chapter in one of our favorite places—New Orleans. It’s our go-to city to escape, unwind, eat good food, and soak up the culture. There’s no better place to bring together the people we love most and celebrate a love that’s real, rooted, and full of joy.
